Prayers and Updates

Prayers and Updates lets you post news and prayer requests on your missionary profile so your supporters can follow along and pray for you.

You need a saved missionary profile before you can post. If you don't have one yet, the page will prompt you to create one first.

Choosing a profile

If you manage more than one profile, use the Select Profile dropdown at the top to choose which profile you're posting to. If you have a single profile, posts go to it automatically and no selector appears.

Creating a post

1. Click the New Post button.
2. Choose the Type:
   • Update — general news about your ministry.
   • Prayer Request — something you'd like your supporters to pray about. Supporters can mark that they've prayed, and the count is shown on the post.
3. Set the Date Added for the post.
4. Write your message in the Content box.
5. Click Create Post.

Editing and deleting posts

Your posts are listed newest information first. Each post shows a badge marking it as an update or prayer request, its date, and — for prayer requests — how many times it has been prayed for (). For each post you can:

• Click the expand arrow to show or hide the full text.
• Click the edit icon to change the post; it opens in the editor, where you click Save Changes.
• Click the delete icon to remove it.
