The Ministry Approach---Ministry Effect
1. Believing that no one defines someone, except our Lord and God. 2. Every recipient or beneficiary is an individual first.I am a Christian and libertarian, an interventionist, human rights defender, and a believer of liberty within reason to defend our own futures; free from any organized state influence, discrimination and all forms of invisibility. My Ministry serves the all persons at the extreme margins of our society, today. In Uganda, when addiction, prostitution/sex work, rape, sexual orientation, HIV+, abortion and alcoholism become public, it leads to a total loss of someone’s social status; who in this particular case is render a victim. For example, raising funds to support the sexual minorities in Uganda isn’t only too difficult but also considered a criminal act which attracts a penalty of 5 years’ imprisonment and de-registration of the organization upon conviction. Because, under the Anti Homosexuality Act 2023 of Uganda, as amended, homosexuality is a crime! Against all odds, as it is in the tradition of the prophets and apostles, God calls the church to speak truth to power, liberate the oppressed, care for the poor and comfort the afflicted. Believe it or not, we are responsible to a higher calling, a higher law that takes precedent over our flawed and inhuman treatment of the voiceless and marginalized. For quite some time, my Ministry, under unspeakable forms of resistance and persecution from all corridors of authority, continues to provide humanitarian havens, which defines who we are and our call as people of faith to care for the most vulnerable among us Without indulging in science, human rights, and other lived experiences related to gender, this Ministry exists to ensure that:• Every person deserves to live in a society where they are accepted for who they are.• Rehabilitating and transforming victims of drug abuse, alcoholism and rape are offered under extreme dignity. • Promoting inclusivity in the Country through activism and training shouldn’t be subjected to any criminal tendencies/allegations. • Preventing bullying and tracking all cases of the same across the Country are part of a broader agenda in any world of equality. • Educating, motivating, and mobilizing Christian youth to improve their own lives and communities so as to become subject-experts of their own problems, challenges and solutions to overcome them isn’t any form against Christianity.• Recognizing and averting the absence of accessible emergency services for the victims of rape and defilement should be every Christian’s conviction. Summary for Ministry Services• Promoting equitable supports for locally marginalized communities by removing any stigma of asking for help.• Working to fill the gaps in social supports amongst the marginalized communities across the country• Supporting dignity and rights for all recipients/beneficiaries of our services • Rebuilding lives after any form of adversity through kindness, resilience, empathy and faith. • Supporting and facilitating respites or sanctuaries of the most at risk persons (under severe persecution and threats). • Challenging and end all forms of discrimination, unemployment, illiteracy, bullying and isolation among the beneficiaries.• Providing free legal services to the invisible communities or recipients in police cells and civil prisons.OUR AREAS WHERE YOUR HELP IS NEEDED. 1.
