Operation Mobilization
God’s story in my life
My name is Ciin Lawh Cing, in short, Cing and I am from Myanmar.I was born to a very prayerful parents who would pray for me and my siblings to receive Christ every night. God in deed answered their prayer and all of us not only receive Christ but also are involve actively in the ministry today. I have been serving with Operation Mobilization Myanmar after Mater of Theology in 2021 since then it has been over five years where my focus is on children, teens, and family. Apart from which I am reaching out to young people with sports and games as a tool while networking with different churches.
Call to ministry
I received a call from God to the ministry after I accepted Christ as my personal savior in a youth conference on 16 April 2008 which was after my highschool examination. God called me to the ministry through a vision where I saw my father’s cousin brother who recently passed away due to addiction of alcohol that time. In that vision, my uncle asked me to help him escaped hell where I tried to help but I could not help him. At the time a voice came to me in my vision and said “while don’t you help people to know me than helping somebody who you will never be able to help?” Those words had changed my ambition of becoming a doctor to proclaiming the gospel to people who do not know God yet. Then I decided to go to Nagaland: India for Theological studies to prepare myself to serve God by serving others.
Challenges
Myanmar has been under political crisis for over 5 years and it is still on going. With this challenge many young people in the country feel helpless and hopeless at the same time a lot of young people are fleeing the coutry in order to find a better place and future for themselves and thier families.
Sports as a tool
Sports became a channel for me in reaching young people with the gospel of hope and it has open doors and opportunities to young people in Myanmar. As much as we long for a bright future for the country using sports has help young people to find thier reason of life and its source (God) in this uncertain world.
Next Chapter of Life
After much prayer, God has answered by giving me such a wonderful fiancee from Taiwan and we are looking forward to be getting married on 17 October 2026. We both will be serving together in Yangon: Myanmar after we get marry. We are both excited at how God will take us through very next chapter of our lives that He has for us.
