Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students — Building 8, 360 Swanston St, Melbourne VIC 3000, Australia
Hi, God has blessed Australia with many gospel workers serving on university campuses able to proclaim the gospel. I am now currently an AFES staff worker in Melbourne. I serve particularly at RMIT but there are staff in other universities.
At RMIT serving both local and international students, a large part of my ministry is focusing on international students as part of FOCUS (Fellowship of Overseas Christian University Students) through weekly gatherings, bible studies and one-to-one meetings. We also hold regular outreach events (eg. an evangelism stall we call "Cuppa n Chats").
Please pray for people in positions of authority to govern Melbourne fearfully under God, for the Lord of Harvest raise up more gospel workers in Melbourne (Matt 9:38), and for Christians in Melbourne to have gospel conversations full of grace and seasoned with salt (Col 4:6).
