Ehsan Safaei: A Heart for the Nations, a Ministry of Christ’s Love
Christian Missionary, Pastor of Light of the World Church, and Member of OM (Operation Mobilisation) in Hamburg, Germany
My name is Ehsan Safaei, and I am a Christian missionary serving in Hamburg, Germany. For the past five years, I have been involved in missionary ministry, seeking to follow Jesus Christ faithfully and share the hope of the Gospel with others. I am also involved with OM (Operation Mobilisation) and serve as the pastor and leader of Light of the World Church.
A Heart for Afghan, Persian, and Kurdish People
God has placed a special love for Afghan, Persian, and Kurdish people in my heart. I care deeply about these communities, and my desire is to share with them the love of God, the hope found in Jesus Christ, and the life-changing message of the Gospel.
For me, sharing God’s message means more than simply speaking about faith. It means loving people, listening to them, walking alongside them, and reflecting the love of Christ through my life and service. My desire is for people from every cultural and linguistic background to have the opportunity to hear the Gospel, ask questions about faith in an atmosphere of love and respect, and grow in their relationship with God.
This is also part of the vision of Light of the World Church, where believers from Afghan, Persian, and Kurdish backgrounds come together. I consider this fellowship a gift from God, and I pray that we will continue to grow in unity, love, and faith while reflecting the light of Christ in our lives.
Five Years of Missionary Ministry
Throughout these five years of missionary service, I have continued to believe that God calls us to share His love with others. This journey requires faith, prayer, patience, and trust in His guidance.
One Bible verse that reminds me of this calling is the word of Jesus in Matthew 5:14:
“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.”
Matthew 5:14
My prayer is that my life and ministry will reflect this light—the light that comes from the love of Christ and brings hope into people’s lives.
