Hello! My name is Ellie. I am a missionary with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) and currently based at the University of the Nations campus in Kona. Our motto is "To Know God and Make Him Known," and we fulfill this by actively growing in our relationship with the Lord, providing missionary training for others, and going to the nations to spread the love of Jesus Christ!
God has given me a passion to shine His light through the arts--particularly through dance and theatre in this season--and He has granted me the opportunity to do just that by serving in our Performing Arts Discipleship Training School (DTS)! This program is designed to help artists use their gifts to share the Good News in the local community and beyond! During the "lecture phase," I assist in classes, disciple young people one on one, lead worship and prayer, and choreograph dance/acting pieces to take on outreach. For the "outreach" portion of the program, I will help lead a team to a few nations in Europe so they can apply what they have learned. In a dark world full of broken people, we can be bright lights to show them the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
