I live in Southern California and go to Emmanuel Faith Church. I sing in the choir, belong to a Sunday school class, and help in other ministries as I am able. I have one adult son who lives nearby.
I am a cartographer and project manager with Wycliffe Bible Translators. I began my assignment in January 2021. I am in a team of cartographers whose primary role is to create and maintain the world language map as it is published in Ethnologue. I am the map steward for Indonesia, southeast Asia, and Europe. I also oversee custom mapping jobs for any part of the world.
My background is in math and engineering. I have a PhD in engineering physics from UC, San Diego. Cartography fits well with my skillset, using math and analytic abilities. I am very happy to be able to serve the Lord with the talents and skills He has given me.
