Greg and Kathleen Parsons
Frontier Ventures — Pasadena, CA, USA
Greg and Kathleen Parsons have been on the staff of Frontier Ventures (formerly the U.S. Center for World Mission) since 1982. Greg was raised in Silicon Valley and came to Pasadena via Dallas—where he met Kathleen while attending Dallas Seminary. They were married in 1981 and raised their two children in Pasadena. They now have three grandchildren – and will gladly show you photos!
Kathleen has had a number of roles, first as an Administrative Assistant to Dr. Winter, then, processing Global Prayer Digest subscriptions. She has also served with several departments in the financial area and now processes the electronic donations for Frontier Ventures.
Greg worked for 27+ years with Ralph Winter. He served from 1990-2010 as the General Director. He now serves as a Global Connections Specialist and takes great joy in learning from, sharing with, and connecting with missions and church leaders globally. He is working to produce a new podcast to share mission insights and ideas from mission leaders – who he interviews in his global travels.
Greg serves on several mission boards in addition to the board of Frontier Ventures, and he is a curator for the Ralph D. Winter Research Center and Archives. He writes a regular column in Mission Frontiers magazine (www.missionfrontiers.org scroll to the bottom for his latest thinking) and has published books, articles, and presentations related to the frontier mission movement. He serves on several external boards including Christar US. and the Via (formerly Center for Mission Mobilization). He chairs the Christar International Board as well.
