With over 500 languages and a population over 180 million people, Nigeria is fertile ground for Bible Translation work. Wycliffe’s field partner SIL has 80 workers from all over the world serving many of the 100+ ongoing language projects.
John is part of the Scripture Engagement team (Vernacular Media Services is part of it), helping to ensure Scriptures are available in audio and visual forms to language communities and ensuring that they are used, enabling widespread access to translated Scriptures in their heart languages. John is personally following God’s call to be a missionary in his own land and is trusting God to supply all his needs.
