Bread Of Life Missions
Hi! My name is Mel and I serve with Bread of Life Mission. I am one of 18 missionaries with the organization and the only American on staff with the mission. We serve with the Turkana tribe in Kenya, the Toposa tribe in South Sudan, and the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes in Tanzania. I serve approximately half of my year in the bush of East Africa ministering our people there and receiving international teams. We currently have 10 churches, 4 preschools, a primary school, and a clinic. I help in all these areas as well as helping with discipleship of various groups. It's such a blessing to have family there AND here. :) The other half of the year, I run the day-to-day for the organizations here in the U.S. From finances to newsletters to our child sponsorship program to Baskets of Hope and more, I definitely stay busy. I'd love to partner with you in ministry and even have you come serve in the field with me for a week (or more) if you feel so led. :)
