We’re Matt and Christina, and our family has been on mission with the Japanese since 2002. From Tokyo to Vancouver and Dallas, Southeast Asia to small-town Japan, we’ve seen firsthand how God is stirring something new. And we believe the time is now.
Japan is home to the second-largest unreached people group in the world. Despite religious freedom, being a follower of Jesus in Japan often means going it alone. Social pressure to conform is intense. Many believers hide their faith—even from their own families.
But we’ve also seen the power of Jesus-centered discipleship to break through the silence.
We’re training Japanese believers using a model that goes all the way back to Jesus and His first disciples—a simple, reproducible way of living and sharing faith that leads to multiplication (Mark 4:8). We’re working toward something big:

Who We Are: We’re Matt and Christina—missionaries with over 20 years of experience reaching Japanese communities around the world. Matt holds a Master of Divinity in International Church Planting, and Christina has a business background with degrees from Texas Tech. Since 2002, we’ve served in Japan, Southeast Asia, the United States, and beyond, training believers and pursuing movements of multiplying disciples.-----Why We Need Extra Funding: As we prepare to establish our ministry base in Japan again, we’re working to increase our overall budget by 35%.
